Reliable Stainless Steel Dog Pinch Collar for Bulldogs with Click Lock Buckle
What is a pinch collar? A pinch collar (often also called a prong collar) is a metal collar which is made of interlocking links each with two blunt prongs that pinch the dog's skin when the working dog collar is tightened. This pinch has a similar effect as a gentle mother's bite. It helps a dog to understand that there is something wrong with his actions. How does it work? When you need to show your Bully that his behavior is wrong, you need to pull the leash slightly which will flash the right signal to your doggy.

The size of this particular Pinch Dog Collar is 21 inch (52 cm) with prong's diameter - 1/8 inch (3.2 mm). If your dog's neck circumference is more than 20 inch (51 cm), you can order an additional link, that will add 1 1/3 inch (3.2 cm) to the total collar length. So that means that if your dog's neck circumference is 23 inch (58 cm) you'll need to order 2 additional links.
How to fit this prong collar correctly?
We have already said that many owners are against of prong collars, but we believe that they are far more humane than a normal choke collar. The biggest problem with prong collars is that new dog owners don't know how to put them on, how to size them or how to have their dog wear them. A common problem new trainers have is they don't remove enough links to get the correct snug fit. When that happens the collar hangs down on the dog's neck which results in the collar not working the way that it was designed.
The biggest mistake of handlers is putting a prong collar on by slipping it over the dog's head and then moving it down on the neck. As you can see our prong collar is equipped with a special click lock buckle which allows to put the collar on and off safely. If you will put our american bulldog collar on and off using the click lock buckle, you will not hurt your Bully.
This prong collar is a quality item and a testification to it is a red tab on it. The Herm Sprenger Company always puts such tabs on the metal collars they produce in order to protect the customers from forgeries. When your order such a collar, always check for this red label.
